Coaching

We help our clients lead more effectively and fulfill their highest potential.  We do that by offering clients a safe harbor to share their greatest aspirations and challenges, unleash their unique talents, and experiment with new ways of leading.  Together we co-create sustainable approaches to change.  Our work is sometimes deep.  And it’s effective.

We offer clients a broad range of coaching guidance to support them in:

  • Being more effective leaders
  • Developing centered, authentic power and presence
  • Generating creativity
  • Making wise decisions
  • Transitioning roles and careers
  • Leading sustainable change
  • Transforming conflict into creativity
  • Creating masterful conversations
  • Coaching and mentoring others
  • Discovering their unique potential
  • Seeing patterns and shifting those that are not useful
  • Developing networks of influence
  • Seeing broader aspects of the systems that they influence
  • Optimizing their health, wellness, and energy

Several things distinguish our coaching work from others’.

To begin, Robin and many of her partners have decades of first-hand experience as leaders in large organizations.  Together, we offer an unparalleled network of some of the world’s best coaching talent.

Second, we are committed to developing ourselves first.  We will not guide our clients into territory that we haven’t intimately explored ourselves.

Third, we are committed to long-term and sustainable change, for ourselves and others.  We continuously explore what works, what doesn’t work, and evolve our practices every day.  We are also committed to daily mindfulness practices such as meditation, Tai Chi, and yoga so that we can be fully present for our clients and see patterns that may not be as clear for them in the moment.

Fourth, we are committed to inquiry.  We have years of experience, and can offer plenty of insights and “solutions.”   We are more interested in asking the right questions, and guiding our clients to reveal their own inner wisdom.

Fifth, we integrate a broad, deep, and highly effective range of cutting edge methods.  Every client is different and no one approach works for everyone.  We craft our approaches in the moment, seamlessly customizing and adapting as we go.  (We are also willing to toss all methods to the wind when useful, and to simply co-steward whatever’s emerging.)

The distinct blend of cutting edge approaches that Robin weaves together includes:

Robin is also a long-time practitioner of meditation and yoga and believes that contemplative practices are core to effective leadership.  Emerging research, combined with 15 years of direct experience, suggest that practices such as these help leaders to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Be more creative
  • Make wiser decisions
  • See patterns and systems more clearly
  • Manage emotions and relationships more effectively

She often supports clients in discovering and developing the practices that work best for them, whether that’s meditation, journaling, dancing, painting, music, being in nature, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Aikido, or anything else that taps the wisdom of the body, fills the heart, and inspires reflection.
